Abstract:
Scientific dissemination has as it bases to spread findings on an investigation in order to offer this knowledge to the society of accessible form. On the basis of this principle, it is necessary that the diffusion tools transmute towards new platforms, in this case Tiktok, a 15 seconds video platform of diffusion with more than 1,000 million active users at worldwide level. This article analyzes the results of a systematic review of scientific literature, carried out in the ISI WOS database, with the objective of answering two questions: Do the scientific articles about scientific dissemination include the Tiktok platform? And, if they do, how discloses this information? The search was performed between the years 2019 - 2021, from the descriptor “Tiktok”, refined by “Scienc*”. From a total of 24 articles, and after applying some inclusion and exclusion criteria, it resulted in one relevant article. This shows that the fields of investigation about communication and science do not considered new platforms of dissemination like Tiktok, also the selected articles are scarce and they focus only on the approach of the subject from the field of the entertainment and mental health, but not of the scientific dissemination. It is concluded that there is opportunity to develop scientific researches that includes the Tiktok platform like a tool of scientific dissemination. Keywords:
