Abstract:
The scientific movie is a strong tool in learning. It offers the access, for different theoretical or/and experimental basic aspects, at levels that are not available for a teacher in a school. In Physics, there are experiments, projects, that can not be introduced as practical classes into a school, as, for example, those involving accelerators, nuclear reactors, different nuclear reactions mechanisms, plasma ignition, high power lasers etc. A scientific movie oversteps the barriers. It is an open tool. The produced professional movie can be completed with specific productions of a school or a laboratory – performed with modest technical devices (apparatus), like mobile cameras. The role of the animation movies or those of the computer simulations can not be neglected. Last, but not least, the level of the atractivity and the opening of the “taste” for study increase significantly/spectacular if the teaching and/or learning processes are coupled with a scientific movie.
This work emphasizes the main aspects concerning the design (the story, theoretical and experimental premises, direct applications, discussions and possible results) and the engineering of such a movie, into an applied model in Plasma Physics.
