The talented individuals are able to perform activities superior to what was expected to their age, with development being carried out through three factors that could accelerate and / or hinder the process: intrapersonal, environmental and luck or opportunity factors. The diversity of individual characteristics within the academic context drives the organization of a system of program planning and support to respond to the needs, in particular of the talented students.
