Abstract:
Creativity as a multidimensional phenomenon comprises different constructs that allow to analyze its complexity. The complementarity of benefits that it provides both personally and societally are clear, however, there is still a lack of agreement in the definition of creativity as well as the way it can be measured and developed. This research exercise aimed to contribute to the development of research and the promotion of creativity in educational contexts, particularly in the field of psychological intervention. This study deepens discussions that have already been built in the last decade, with the aim of systematizing the contributions of psychology to the study of creativity, reflecting critically on emerging perspectives and future directions. It reveals, in detail, the methodological process implemented. In the introductory phase of the study, eight stages were accomplished, namely: definition of research question, definition of objectives, identification of primary sources, construction of search strings, definition of inclusion and exclusion criteria, definition of categories of qualification, definition of the method and selection of the tools, and elaboration of the schedule. The reading of the primary studies was subjected to reading filters. The present systematic review of the literature served to broaden the interpretative possibilities of the results, reconstructing readings of a decade of the literature around the potential of creativity, and ensuring the descriptive validity, interpretive validity, theoretical validity and pragmatic validity of the present study. The products of this systematic review are discussed and discussed.
