Abstract:
The article focuses on one training project and research carried out in the Teachers' Portal of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) from the prospect of continuing education of teachers from the early years of elementary school through distance education. The study is part of the doctoral program in education at the same university. The main aim is to show these works promoted by the virtual portal of UFSCar as a possibility of building a computerized environment that provides reflections on teaching practice and professional development of the practicing teachers. The proposal for teacher education is centered on the reference research model named build constructive to produce strategies of collaborative action-research. Sharing theoretical framework based on Marcelo Garcia (1999) L. and J.Shulmam, (2004), Belloni, (2002 & 2009) Schon (1992), Imbernon, (2009), Mizukami (2003 & 2005), among others. The narratives of the teachers who participated in the training-research project the strategy that permeated the proposal show that the training offered by the investigative Portal Teachers enhance their professional development as the foundation of the training activities provided by this portal has emphasis on the teachers’ needs contextualized in their workplace. The spaces for training beyond the school's physical space can also be set at distance as shown in this study unless the school ceases to be a priority.
