Abstract:
Globally, we are experiencing the biggest health crisis of the 21st century. The coronavirus (COVID 19) is currently present in all the media. The presence of the virus has altered social relations between people, being the cause of the closure of many educational institutions such as schools, universities, institutes, etc. Another problem that is observed, in a large part of teachers, is the deficient training in how to effectively use technologies in teaching, which affects the attitude of teachers in relation to ICT. Another of the inconveniences that arise are the technical problems of the computer equipment and the lack of a fast and efficient technical service due to the pandemic in which we live. Given this, the following research problem was formulated: What are the factors that are associated with the level of satisfaction of the students of the Schools of Statistics and Computing and Informatics with virtual teaching, in times of pandemic, Covid 19?.The general objective of the research was to identify the factors that are related to the level of satisfaction of the students of the Schools of Statistics and Computing and Informatics, with virtual teaching in times of the Covid 19 pandemic. The present investigation had a design of analytical descriptive contrast, having as a population 350 students from the statistics survey of a public university, through simple random sampling, a representative sample of 301 students was selected. The interview technique was used as a data collection instrument in the Spanish version of the Distancio Education Learning Environments Survey Sp-DELES by Ferrer-Cascales, (Appendix), whose author of the original version is Walker. The most relevant results were: The marital status of the parents is related to the level of satisfaction of the students with virtual teaching. Statistical association between the occupation of the father of the family with the satisfaction of virtual teaching. No statistical association was found between the place of residence and the level of satisfaction with virtual teaching. No statistical association was found between the economic income of the parents and the level of satisfaction with virtual education. No statistical association was found between the degree of education of the parents with the level of satisfaction with virtual teaching. A statistical association was found between the help to the student by the institution and the level of satisfaction with virtual teaching. No statistical association was found between connectivity and the level of satisfaction with virtual teaching. Reaching the following conclusions: with respect to social factors, it was found that the marital status and occupation of the parents are associated with the levels of satisfaction of the students with virtual teaching.
