Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the issue of ethical aspects in higher education in economic-managerial study programs. It is based on the framework definition of the competencies of university graduates and reflects the changes associated with the digital transformation of business entities. Subsequently, it focuses on the issues of business ethics, marketing ethics, information ethics, ethics in advertising and social networks. The mentioned directions of ethics from the point of view of their inclusion in managerial education were considered and assessed on the basis of literature reviews. Subsequently, in the context of the use and deployment of new technologies, the ethical dimensions are discussed. Use of new technologies, innovations, large volumes of acquired, used as well as shared data and information, etc. they are often associated with unethical and dangerous phenomena. The advent of digital works and online social networks has added a new dimension to the ethical aspects of education and, subsequently, of professional life. It is necessary to ensure already in the educational process that the terminology used in the context of copyright protection, in particular the terms case, ownership, making available to the public, etc. was part not only of theory but also of practice of education. Research on social networks, driven by increasingly powerful computational and visualization tools, also raises ethical dilemmas that largely escape existing codes of conduct and regulatory frameworks. Therefore, education in the subject topics becomes a necessary part in shaping the competencies of graduates of economic and managerial study fields.
