Abstract:
The assessment belongs directly to the most important aspects of pedagogical work. The quality of pedagogical assessment, according to research studies, is one of the most important factors influencing the attitude of the student towards learning.

However, the teacher's assesment does not always determine the quality of the attitude to the learning process. At a minimum, this means that school assessment determines students' feelings of well-being in learning, and co-decides on student motivation for learning. School evaluation tells us how successful the lesson is and what the results are.

Student's assessment during the semester at Žilina University in Žilina is an important part of the overall assessment of the course and it is also an essential part of the final exam's mark. For this reason, it is necessary to set up a system so that students have a continuous space throughout the semester to demonstrate their qualities and gain as much of the total number of points they can achieve.

The paper contains a case study of a specific area of education (course Network Economics), where students were assessed from multiple perspectives and gained points for multiple tasks. During the lessons, they had possibility to present the news from this field, write two exams from curriculum which was needed for the final exam and handed over a semester project that was rated by three groups of points. This assessment reflected the qualities that a university graduate should have in 2020 - self-presentation, creative content, and working with a template (such as the MS Word).

At the end of the semester, we have quantified achieved results in order to know where the students stand out and where they should improve. This quantification has served to reorganize the course, which responds to the needs of future graduates. The aim of the article is to evaluate obtained results and then to propose a modification of the students' assessment of the course. The paper was written on the basis of the data received from the course, the data were subsequently evaluated by analysis and compared. The result of the paper is a improved proposal of the students' assessment on the specific course.
