Abstract:
The business model CANVAS is a visual strategy to propose business ideas by presenting nine blocks that describe the areas: clients, valuable properties, infrastructure, and economic feasibility. With this spirit, this work adopts the same approach as a visual thinking strategy to generate ideas for research projects within the subject “Draft and Execution of Projects” of the degree in Chemistry. The method can serve as a guide for students to prepare their proposal while collecting and summarizing the information employed by the students. The proposed blocks included were: objectives, innovation grade, key activities, key team, key resources, key partners, expected results, contingency plan, communication channels, impact/value proposition, budget structure, and Gantt diagram. The initiative is expected to enhance the student’s perception of how to perform sound and innovative research projects and research skills. Moreover, the proposed approach can be extended to other areas and related subjects to enhance the student’s awareness towards research. Keywords:
