Abstract:
Around the world, engineering education is one of the most important challenge of countries. In particular, in Argentina, engineering curricular design is migrating toward the competency-based curricular design.

Within the framework of the Institute for Research in Technology and Education (IIT&E) of the School of Engineering of the National University of Lomas de Zamora (FI-UNLZ), the goal of this work was design an instrument to measure the acquisition of skills, distance between expectations, training received and level of acquisition demanded by the labor market.

This work is approached from the perspective of subjective base models that evaluate the quality of the services. Based on an ad hoc questionnaire those was administered to graduates, the Indicators of Adequacy of Competence (IAC) and of Competence Development (IDC) were generated, which allow to measure the magnitude and nature of the changes that the institutions face.
