Abstract:
Students of the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications focus mainly on the economic topics related to transport and communications as the faculty name suggests. The study plan in the first class of bachelor degree however also includes the Geometry class. Its focus is mainly on the methods of 3-dimensional projection into 2-dimensional plane and exploring the relations of basic objects in space.

Modern technologies have been a great help in the teaching process in the recent years, namely pedagogic mathematical software where we can choose from several types at our disposal. Our aim is to introduce the basics of projection methods as Monge projection and orthogonal axonometry to the students in an easy and understandable way in which one software was particularly helpful to us: the freeware multispectral mathematical program GeoGebra. This article shows our experience with GeoGebra and the study applets created using this software. These applets make the study for our students easier not only during classes but during their work at home as well.
