Abstract:

Education is about cognitive gain and technology can accelerate that gain. Donald will show an array of recent technological innovations, with real examples, that can help us teach and learn. Grounded in learning theory, or cognitive ergonomics, he will present; open, semantic, adaptive, gamification, AR & VR technology that reveals how consumer technology can help some of the most pressing problems in education - crises in cost, relevance and delivery.
