Abstract:
The traditional system of continuous assessment implies assuming, on many occasions, some difficulties regarding the monitoring and assessment of student work. The existence of large groups and the need to speed up teacher-student and student-student communication has led to research into the possibilities offered by new technologies in order to update learning methods and facilitate the assessment of student work in and out of the classroom. This teaching experience focuses on studying the possibilities offered by the application of the University of Valencia's Virtual Classroom Questionnaire and incorporating it as an integrated tool in the work of the classroom. Specifically, this methodology is applied simultaneously to two different subjects in the Medicine area - Clinical Neurology applied to Speech Therapy and Physiopathology for Chiropodists - in which students are evaluated through the application at the end of each of the theoretical classes. This activity allows the teacher to manage and evaluate, in an efficient way and in real time, issues such as attendance and participation in the subject, knowing immediately the students' response to the concepts worked on.
