Abstract:
In the initial Bolonia declaration, it is claimed that the University has to offer to the citizens the necessary competences in order to confront the challenges of the new millennium, along with a conscience of sharing values and pertenence to a common social and cultural space.
One of the aims of the new millennium proposed for the next 2015 is “PROMOTING THE EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITIES BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN AND THE AUTONOMY OF THE WOMEN”. There are numerous and powerful reasons that justify the importance of this aim and the goal of achieving it in 2015. This equality that is required between men and women is a fundamental principle in order to achieve a just society and university, in the Spanish country and in the European Higher Education Area
It is in this sphere where there is an attempt to create syllabus that consider the gender perspective and contribute to form new proffesionals who share an structure of equality of opportunities and who have the formation about gender relations and the avoidance of situations that impede the development of equality in the university sphere.
According to the fundamental law of the 12th April, which modifies fundamental law 6/2001 of Universities, of the 21rst december (LOMLOU), in its preamble says that the University must be” esential transmitter of values in response to the challenge of the present society in order to achive a tolerant and equal society, where it should be respected the rights and fundamental liberties and equality between men and women”. In the Royal Decree 1393/2007, of the 29th October, where it is establihed the ordenation of the official university grades, in its statement of reasons, it shown that it should be taken into account that the formation in any profesional activity should contribute to the knowledge and development of human rights, the democratic principles, the principles of equality between man and women, solidary and ecological protection, universal accesibility and design for everybody and the promotion of a culture of peace.
That is the reason why, as professors of the Castilla-La Mancha University, especifically in the grades of Social Work and Ocuppational Therapy, we want to consider the gender perspective, as long as the principle of equality between men and women. Taking this principle into account in this university sphere, it involves to deal with it through competences in the syllabus.

The EHEA, it is not only limited to potenciate the educational equality, but it goes beyond that, it capabilities and develops the empowerment of the women in order to confront these new challenges by developing knowledge, flair, attitudes, competences, access to resources and new opportunities. It possibilities to influence and to contribute to the societies of the future.
The participation will favour big structural, social, political and economical changes, where the equality between the genders will become real in a very near future promoted by the formation and empowerment carried out by the EHEA
