Abstract:
Romanian education in recent years has emphasized the collaborative nature of learning, but also the positive role that cooperative learning has on the cognitive, emotional, and social development of pupils and students. Also, active participatory methods and the use of modern teaching aids facilitate the easy acquisition of knowledge among pupils and students. Modern techniques allow the efficiency of the teaching process, which is why interactive, multimedia systems are used as levers in assimilating new knowledge. We are aware that generations are always changing, the context in which they are born, develop, and project their own dreams is always changing, so the didactic approach must metamorphose in accordance with these aspects. In this article, we aim to show the importance of using these modern means and films both in the process of acquiring new information and the didactic approach through cooperation, both favoring a positive attitude of students towards the act of learning. The research method used in this study is the questionnaire-based survey method, having as a working tool the questionnaire addressed to students enrolled (N=120) in the specialization Pedagogy of primary and preschool education, both undergraduate and master's studies, regarding the opinions and advantages they have if the teacher uses multimedia technology and of films in the educational process. The questions in this questionnaire capture aspect regarding the use of multimedia means and films in the teaching-learning process and their importance for obtaining a climate of cooperation among students regarding the teaching tasks they have to perform. The results we have obtained help both us, as teachers, and the future teachers we train to become the best in the profession they have chosen. These data we recorded surprised that students can achieve better learning outcomes if the teaching approach of teachers is one of cooperation and if they use multimedia, active participatory methods, and films/images in the educational process.
