Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the issue of distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic in primary schools and the work of school prevention methodologists. The aim of the paper is to focus on and bring information about the work of prevention methodologists in primary schools during distance education. The authors focused on the problems they encountered in carrying out online support, the problems they solved with students during the pandemic and the benefits/disadvantages of implementing online methodological support in the field of prevention. The paper is divided into two parts –theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part describes the position of school prevention methodologists in primary schools in the Czech Republic, the areas that school prevention methodologists encounter and address in practice with students. The second part of the paper describes the research conducted in the framework of the issue. The main research objective was to find out how school methodologists worked with primary school students and what problems they encountered in implementing preventive measures during distance education. The research was carried out by using a qualitative approach. The practical part described the research sample, time schedule and organization of the research, research tool, evaluation of the research results as well as summary and conclusions of the research part.
