ON APPLICATION OF PHASE SPACE DISTRIBUTION TO STUDY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN IQ AND EQ CURVES

The question has always been posed to the researchers in the evaluating the human individual and social ability through the curve of IQ and EQ distribution is the relationship between these indices. The simple answer to this question does not seem easy to be found because the two sets of survey indicate different groups of behaviors of an individual. On the one hand, IQ reflects personal intelligence relative independently on the surrounding community, on the other hand EQ expresses the behavior of such individual in relation to public community. The statistical analysis of psychophysiological research has showed somewhat a qualitative relationship of the two sets of indicators, however, quantifying this relationship is still difficult task due to the lack of a systematic approach in which most of the determinants of IQ and EQ curves are also included in the survey. Using the approach of statistical physics, namely the phase space distribution taking into account both individual and collective factors, and assuming that the contribution of these factors are equal, the authors propose an extended Gaussian distribution function allowing assess more explicitly the relationship between IQ and EQ indices. As a simple example, the proposed phase space distribution function would be used in some calculations for a number of data sets IQ and EQ which have been publicized.
