Abstract:
Promoting social inclusion and empowering disadvantaged groups can help tackle issues perpetuating poverty and social inequality. The Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) is a tool for measuring poverty beyond income. Considering various dimensions, the MPI provides a more comprehensive understanding of multiple deprivations of health, education, and standard of living. Among the factors, education has become a vital dimension of the MPI. As technology changes, the lack of education or inadequate access to quality education can contribute significantly to multidimensional poverty.

This paper focuses on studying the close link between social disparities and education within the context of the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI). It will begin by addressing the need for comprehensive interventions to tackle multidimensional poverty and social disparities, with a particular focus on the role of education.

This paper addresses social disparities caused by the deprivation of educational opportunities. It delves into the impact of MDI status on academic achievement, underscoring the widening achievement gap influenced by the social and economic environment.
