Abstract:
The spread of information technology have had in the last years, a major impact, conquering the entire social space as well as the privacy of individuals, its use in all fields of human activities has concluded a huge influence factor in people’s education. As a result of the considerable effort to transform this behaviour, storage and the communication technology into important components of training and education process. There are countless appraisals among both students and teachers who have called it the most rich in resources and the most adaptable of training machines.

In recent years, several studies have been published exploring students' perceptions and expectations regarding e-learning. Studies conducted by National Center for Education statistics show an increase in demand and acceptance of online learning, while students who have been involved in e-learning courses are generally very positive about their experiences. Moreover, studies show that students' perception of e-learning in higher education institutions can be influenced by several variables. There are different theories of accepting the technology used to appreciate students' perceptions. The vast majority of students have fast access to personal web computers and web features and personal digital devices such as mobile phones. It also uses a wide range of web features in everyday life for better communication or social networking.

In this article, we have designed a survey amongst students about their attitudes toward eLearning platforms by using eye-tracking experiments. In the research, in order to be able to analyze, apart from their statements, the actual facts that the platforms are being watched and visualized, we used an eye-tracking device to compare the efficiency between a classic eLearning platform and a well improved one, in order to emphasize a few issues regarding interfaces. We wanted to determine whether the design of an eLearning platform influence or not the student behavior and whether it increases the degree of accessing the courses and also the role of attractive interfaces in the learning process.
