Abstract:
The article is the results of an experiment conducted to improve the effectiveness of the development of the bullet shooting course among university students.

The experimental groups are staffed by the terms of training and the development of theoretical and practical materials. The total number of participants in the experiment was 35 people.

The state of the regulatory systems in the process of participating in the shooting events was checked only at the end of the training at the competitions on the following parameters: heart rate, heart rate variability, heart rate amplitude, voltage index.

The data obtained as a result of the studies indicate that the most short-term and rational time for additional training in shooting at the university is 8 lessons. However, the use of more time-intensive experimental programs is available and can be used if there are reserves of additional study time.
