Abstract:
The purpose of this communication is to share how we have created an eLearning course with the concern of transfer through an experiential approach. This presentation offers different aspects to consider in the learning process. First, we present the process of experiential approach and its implications. Second, we identify the tree transversal characteristics that are to be considered in this specific course. The first elements to consider are the characteristics of the learner (the perceived value of the course or the specific object of learning); the second is the choice of the pedagogical methods and technics (which includes the relationship that we create with the learner(s)); the third is the support of the environment. There are two main types of transfer, the near and the far transfer. We have to take in consideration how to construct the pedagogical scenario to create and maintain the attention of the learner. It implies to adjust the rhythm to the media, the distance and the fact that the attention is more difficult to maintain in the context of eLearning. We will illustrate with a diagram all the important factors that we observed. Keywords:
