Abstract:
Currently, the integration of the information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching and learning processes (TLP) in Higher Education (HE) is considered by international organizations as a basic strategy to solve issues of access, quality and equality in education, as well as fortifying the social, economic and cultural community development in a global context.

In this context, the institutions of HE have had to restructure their education systems, especially when traditionally face-to-face educational programs move towards the new educational modalities supported by ICT, and become an opportunity to improve the learning quality and pertinence.

Therefore, to identify and document the experiences and best educational practices of the stages of TLP with the incorporation of ICT becomes indispensable, especially in the diversity of the HE disciplines, which include architecture and professional design.

In this sense, the objective of this document is to present the best academic experiences and practices related to the TLP of architecture and professional design with the support of ICT. The objective is focused in the case of one of the workshops of Architectural, Bioclimatic and Landscape Design, that was offered as part of the graduate program of the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) in the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC).

This document is integrated by three sections: the first part presents the importance of the stages of the TLP with the incorporation of ICT, specifically in the architecture and design areas; the second section presents the best practices and academic experiences accomplished in the workshop of Architectural, Bioclimatic and Landscape Design, developed with the support of ICT; and finally the third section presents the results and conclusions obtained.
