Abstract:
In my paper, I will share experiences of OpenClassrooms, the largest vocational edtech platform in Europe, in integrating individual online mentoring into its educational offer.

In July 2015, we launched the very first in Europe state-recognised and 100 % online BA level degree; in January 2016, we launched a job-oriented learning paths — sequences of several moocs and projects that aim to improve learners’ employability and help them in landing a job. These offers include online mentoring.

I will talk about why online mentoring was introduced at OpenClassrooms' platform, how it works, who are our mentors, how they are selected and trained, and what value it brings to learners.

At the end, will share feedback and first results of this innovation. As this is the first time an edtech platform fully integrates mentoring into its educational offer, this experience would be interesting for attendees.
