Abstract:
The WebQuest (WQ) is a didactic proposal which pretends to guide the student learning process through Internet resources. This learning model considers the development of basic competences such as cooperative work, individual responsibility, ICT utilities and research abilities to carry out projects, main focuses for European Higher Education Area.
In the following paper we show a model of WQ for a Physiotherapy subject, as a proposal to debate the benefits and requirements of this way of learning. A group of Physiotherapy Department teachers have consulted different websites and articles related concept, structure, use and evaluation of the WQ. Following this research phase, we have designed a WQ structure for a Physiotherapy subject, attending this innovative methodology.
The WebQuest could be a complementary way to guide student learning process in our current society where is important to develop teamworking, lifelong learning and to use the ICT.
