Abstract:
Curriculum design constitutes an essential part in the educational process, being the starting point for instructional planning, through the structuring and organizing of a series of elements that create the foundations of theoretical and methodological framework. One of the main difficulties in the curriculum designing and implementation is the communication between teachers, principals and all the different people involved in the process, not always having the desired result. This paper proposes a model that includes educational communication as a strategy for curriculum designing and implementation. From a constructivists perspective the model includes the following stages: the analysis of the environmental factors, the diagnosis of needs, the planning of the proposal, the implementation and the curricular evaluation. This model we hope will contribute to a better understanding and commitment between teachers and all members involved in the school project for developing students’ comprehensive education and generating, therefore, a better value and effectiveness in education.
