Abstract:
Lifelong education in the health sector presents itself as a challenge for institutions and managers, especially in contemporary times, driving the need for new strategies for competency development and meaningful learning. In this sense, the production of didactic material based on dialogical principles has been considered a central element. This study aims to establish a relationship between the perception of the content teacher's formation and the didactic material produced by them for the health sector, in the light of dialogical principles, within the Virtual Learning Environment of the Unified Health System in Brazil, the AVASUS. This is an exploratory, qualitative research, of the case study type, supported by bibliographic delineation and systematic literature review. In the first phase, the case study was conducted through documentary analysis of the didactic material presented in a sample of 13 modules of the AVASUS. In this phase, the content analysis technique (Bardin, 2021) was used. In the second phase of the research, data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire applied to the 11 content teachers who elaborated the modules. The data indicates that the didactic material explicitly expresses elements of dialogicity consistent with principles addressed by relevant authors in the field, such as Paulo Freire and Mikhail Bakhtin. Such elements can be exemplified by the problematization of content or simulated dialogue textual structure, in addition to clear communication language. Regarding formation, content teachers attest that it plays an important role in constructing good didactic material. However, content teachers emphasize that it is during the production process of didactic material that knowledge about dialogicity is most strengthened. In this direction, we inquire whether the process of didactic material production contributes to the formation of content teachers, echoing in the quality of didactic material produced for distance education in the health sector, from a dialogical perspective.
