Abstract:
Introduction:
Nursing Degree includes 21 subjects Practicum in three university campuses at the University of Cadiz (Spain): Cádiz, Jerez de la Frontera and Algeciras. The students make their clinical practice in 77 health centers in the province, performing about 14 rotations by different clinical units under the tutorship of more than 1000 clinical tutors, in order to achieve the competencies of these subjects. The teaching-learning clinical practice process is very complex that includes the organization of clinical nursing practice, the register of the activities referred in program and the evaluation of the clinical learning, which should reflect the student competence profile.
The methodology used in the practical-clinical teaching offers a syncretism between a collaborative methodology for designing activities and teaching tools, a reflective learning from what has been done in clinical practice and focusing on the process evaluation, not only in the results, where the attitude of the students is key, using the security, privacy and confidentiality of patients and the quality of care like basic ethical principles for clinical practice.
To achieve the proposed learning outcomes in each subject Practicum with the above methodology, the following types of educational activities are used: seminars, clinical practices, clinical practice portfolio, and clinical simulation as part of the evaluation and reinforcement of certain competencies.
So far, all these activities were carried out separately in files without a standardized format, making very difficult the evaluation and feedback of the students.

Objective:
To design a web application to improve the administrative management and teaching practicum of Nursing Degree courses.

Methodology:
The web application has been designed using the programming language Django.
Django is a free and open-source web framework, written in Python, which follows the model–view–controller (MVC) architectural pattern. It´s maintained by the Django Software Foundation (DSF), an independent organization established as a non-profit.
Django's primary goal is to ease the creation of complex, database-driven websites. Django emphasizes reusability of components, rapid development, and the principle of don't repeat yourself.

Results:
The web application, named e-cuidasalud, is available at the following web address:
http://e-cuidasalud.uca.es
The application enables secure web access to the following user profiles: Administrator, Teacher course coordinator, Professor coordinator of clinical practice, Clinical tutor and Student. Each profile offers different possibilities on the web platform, among them are: Improving interaction among all participants in the process; electronic record of the distribution of students, clinical units and clinical tutors; Electronic recording of portfolios of activities undertaken by students; electronic record of the evaluation of clinical practice and portfolio; Save the data of each academic year; standardized information and edit the features of the web application.
This information system provides improvements for all processes and people involved in the administrative and teaching management subjects Practicum of Nursing Degree.
