Abstract:
In order to assess the satisfaction perceived by the teachers of the e-learning Occupational Risk Prevention Master of Miguel Hernandez University, a questionnaire of several items were voluntarily conducted, at the end of the academic year, during the courses 2015-2016 and 2017-2018 to the teaching staff. Items of these questionnaires were related to teaching, to administrative management and to teacher’s satisfaction. We present the evolution of results of these both questionnaires. During the 2016-2017 academic year, the valid response rate was not reached.

The population survey was conducted by the teachers and other teaching staff related to the e-learning Occupational Risk Prevention Master. The questionnaire was conducted through the virtual campus by accessing with a personal password. The first questionnaire included 11 items and the second year was made up of 12 items. The answer scale of items was formulated from 1 to 5 points. Results with high scores indicate greater satisfaction and lower scores indicated very unsatisfied response. Response rate was lower in the first course and increased up to 27% the second academic year.

Comparing results of questionnaires, we find that first and second questionnaire items “during classes there was a good atmosphere between teachers and students” and “the coordination of the course has facilitated my teaching task” have been very god evaluated both years. The lowest rated item has been the one related to the academic level that teachers have found in the students before teaching the subject. This item has been evaluated during the first year below 4 and was above 4, the second academic year.

The overall results are higher than 4 in both questionnaires. The second year we obtained a global result of 4,57 while the previous course evaluated was of 4,41. So we can conclude that satisfaction of teachers involved in e-learning Occupational Risk Prevention Master of Miguel Hernandez University is very high and it has been improving over time.
