Abstract:
Education and experience are currently one of the main aspects of employee selection in a particular company. Companies not only look for competent, professional and mentally prepared applicants but also train and educate their employees aligned with the interests and needs of the company. The main reason for the institutions to invest in human resources is mainly to increase competitiveness, as well as success and prosperity. Nowadays, businesses have similar technologies and production processes, so it is the main factor of human resources that distinguishes one company from another. Education of employees does not have to be only on the knowledge level; we can also mention the process of social qualities forming, such as behavior, attitude, motivation. Nowadays, it is not difficult to find an expert being a master in his field; the difficulties are training an employee to become a specialist in a particular field within a few years.

The main reasons for educating and developing of employees are increasing pressure on business competitiveness, rapidly changing business environment, change of the core of the work and ways of its organization, increasing pressure on innovation, new ways of working based on new technologies, development of new technologies and its more frequent use in the organization, the need for cost reductions, changes in the value orientation of employees, forming a better image of the organization and thus better conditions for recruiting and keeping motivated employees, lack in the qualification of the employees and changing customer requirements.

Acceptance of the above reasons for the development of human resources can affect the competitiveness and prosperity of the business. Therefore, education and the formation of working knowledge and skills should be seen as a lifelong process and an essential part of personnel work, as we point out in our paper. People are the most valuable resource of any organization. It is not sufficient for a company to be equipped with technological gadgets, because it is people who add value to the organization as the owners of human capital. The education and development of managers, which is connected with the strategy of the organization, should not be neglected either. Its contribution to the organization is more critical because managers substantially determine the success of the organization. The development of managers and other employees should differ, especially considering the nature of their job, which is difficult to measure and it is rather unpredictable. A prerequisite for the education of managers is the development of their overall job potential, which will ensure the success of the organization in the future.

Many studies have already addressed the benefits of quality education and training programs for employees. Thus, the positive impact of employee education on their fluctuation, satisfaction and performance were proven. For young people from the millennium generation, who will create the majority of the working population within a few years, the possibility of professional development, acquiring new skills and continuing education has become an essential and required benefit. Companies can use the quality offer of corporate courses as a competitive advantage and also attract new talents. As of employee training, the focus today is on soft skills, digital platform involvement, role-playing, coaching, etc. Our paper also focuses on these trends.
