Abstract:
The Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center (CFAA) is a research center at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU that works together with a consortium of companies. The work at CFAA is related to manufacturing technologies improvement and aeronautic components development.The CFAA presents several and different training and educational opportunities for various student collectives: Vocational dual training students, Degree Students, MSc students and PhD students. This initiative aims to provide advanced training in the field of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technologies. Student receive theoretical formation along with practical training taught both by staff of the university and by external agents from other research centres and companies who develop R&D+i activities.
The present work analyses the different training careers for these student collectives at the CFAA taking into account their educational background, platforms for industry incorporation, and neighbouring/surrounding industries necessities: specialization, formation, knowledge, and first experiences.
