Abstract:
The aim of this study is to determine anxieties of learners of Turkish as a distance foreign language and to assess them in terms of various variables. Within the framework of these purposes has been sought answers to the following questions:
- Does foreign language anxiety vary depending on proficiency levels of learners?
- Is there any relationship between age and foreign language anxiety of Turkish learners as a foreign language?
- Is there any relationship between gender and foreign language anxiety of Turkish learners as a foreign language?
-Is there any difference between two groups A1 and A2 depending on foreign language anxiety?

The study was carried out with survey model. The study group is composed of 80 students attending A1 and A2 level courses in Anadolu University. Data for the study was collected via Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale, which was developed by Horwitz, Horwitz and Cope (1986). Data analysis was presented as a percentage.
