Abstract:
The transmedia narrative is a type of story that unfolds through multiple media and communication platforms, and in which part of the consumers assume an active role in that process of diffusion. Applied to teaching, it is about showing the bases of a collaborative, multiplatform and multiformat learning. In this work, we show a transmedia experience carried out in the subject of Statistics of the Degree in Computer Science. The experience integrates a blog, a content platform, Kahoot and classes. Through these channels, we work on the subject's competences as well as we offer different access points to the subject. In addition, we encourage students to contribute and participate in the development of content. To evaluate the experience, a set of indicators associated with the channels and tools and a survey of 33 students of the subject were considered. The results of the survey indicate a high degree of satisfaction of the students regarding the experience. They would recommend its use in other subjects. The students stand out among the channels used the Kahoot, specially to work in a group, and the blog as a mean to connect concepts learned in the subject with applications in real contexts.
