Abstract:
The introduction of new educational system has led to the disintegration of matters in multiple subjects, which heightens the need for coordination between them to relationship knowledge and learning processes that ensure consistent development within the programme of study.
The use of a virtual working environment has enabled this work to streamline coordination between teachers, facilitating the review of different syllabus, evaluation systems and methodologies. In this way, it manages to create a new common framework which can relate the graphics subjects involved.
Moreover, these subjects that make up the field of graphic expression in the Building Engineering Degree, are characterized by applying a very practical methodology based on graph representation and analysis of different architectural elements of increasing complexity along the course.
The use of that virtual working environment for the development of the course leads to the creation of a virtual classroom with the participation of students enrolled in the subjects of matter.
A joint programming is provided in this virtual classroom, developing around the study of an architectural model by groups of students, through which they apply the contents related to different subjects that make up the field of graphic expression.
At the same time in this virtual environment, work placement are providing, developing and evaluating, supervised by teachers during the academic year, allowing concepts to strengthen the practical application of each subjects without losing the overall objectives of the discipline.
After completing the course outlined in the virtual classroom groups work together with a presentation that should appreciate the different graphics applications that have been used in the analysis of the architectural model studied.
