Abstract:

Delivering quality educational competence with reduced cost (e.g., reusability) continues to steer online educational initiatives. Scholars and the business sectors are striving to determine cost-savings, cost-benefits, and cost efficiencies of online education. Technology’s push on job advancements is energizing learners to seeking new knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies in a rapidly changing technical climate. This information and technological period is intermingled in networked infrastructures within dynamic ecosystems. Distance education is altering the rules concerning the return-on-investment (ROI) since it requires planned engagements and investments, as it relates to online business enterprises. Although past data and performance can be used to modify ideas, different and innovative facts and documents must to be evaluated to drive continuous process improvements. The goal is to electrify success that can be measured. This presentation will assess (1) aligning training with business objectives, (2) tracking and evaluating business results, and (3) the value of on-line investments in technology for training professionals (Burton, Bessette, and Brown-Jackson, 2013). Additionally, learning professionals will widen their knowledge base on why business values and organizational learning capabilities should be in partnership.
