Abstract:
Introduction
Today’s world needs well-educated, ready-to-work and capable people for scientific and research activity. These mankind needs are growing concerns for businesses, governments and social life. Students’ selection for research activity, their training and preparing to scientific competition should be provided at the earlier stages at school. Adequate indices are needed to reveal talented children and youth with the most accurate prognosis.
Purpose
To create the computer system to predict students’ ability to work in area of scientific research.
Results
It was developed the computer technique for investigation of psychophysiological important qualities (PPIQ) of young people to select those who is the most relevant to scientific activity.
Measurement and analysis of young researches PPIQs have been provided on the base of selection and validation of psychological indices that included indices of the intelligence and personality structure, inter-personal communication nature, as well as of the nerve systems features of the student.
This methodology was validated over the period of twenty years and demonstrated usefulness to be applied for many mental types of human activity as well. Namely, it was used to select and predict schoolchildren efficiency to participate in the ICYS 2010 conference/competence. Three from nine Ukraine participants wan medals.
