Abstract:
The question of availability and ability to use different learning the Russian language methods is important and relevant today, during the active development of the Russian higher education system export potential. The number of students studying Russian as a foreign language is constantly increasing, and the number of students studying in Russia is growing too, including on educational programs of universities in technical fields.

Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (UrFU, Russia) jointly with North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU, China) implement 5 educational programs double-degree of higher education, such as "Civil Engineering", "Architecture", "Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal", "Geodesy and Remote Sensing" and "Heat Power Engineering".

Following the agreement of the universities, The Chinese students study at NCWU during the first and second academic years, then come to Russia to complete their third and fourth academic years at UrFU. In total, 938 students are currently studying in the project nowadays.

The experience of UrFU and NCWU indicates the need to introduce a course on mastering professional terminology in the Russian language study by expanding the set of lexical tools necessary for the further application of the acquired knowledge in the future professional graduate's activities of "non-linguistic" programs.
Realizing the importance and necessity of studying the Russian language in the professional industry, the dictionary of construction terminologies has been developed by UrFU teachers. The set of these terminologies are often used for the study of professional classes of the "Civil Engineering" program (third and fourth study years at UrFU). The dictionary has become the basis for the development of methodological support of the "Professional training in the Russian language" class for Chinese students.

The developed methodological paper is the list of basic professional terms and its definitions, which are accompanied by visual images (pictures) and also has been supplemented by the basic phrases which often are used with the specific term. The characteristic of the methodological material also is multilingualism (the possibility of simultaneous for using Russian, Chinese and English languages to study a specific term or definition). As a result of the introduction into the educational program of the opportunity for learning of the main professional terminological base before studying special classes, as well as the set of methodological developments described above, the effectiveness of the learning material mastering of subsequent classes and the level of achievement of professional competencies has increased by 10.5% among Chinese students (the sample – 115 students).

The obtained positive experience is planned to expand to other programs implemented jointly by UrFU and NCWU.
