Abstract:
Higher education of crisis managers and risk managers has now confirmed its irreplaceable place in the education system. The importance of risk and crisis management today depends on the efforts of all organizations to increase the overall security of countries, citizens and enterprises. The development of international relations is dominated by uncertainties and negative risks (COVID 19 pandemic, restriction of free movement of persons, turbulence in the world economy).

A proactive approach to risk management as a tool for crisis prevention requires the necessary knowledge that managers can acquire through higher education, but also through lifelong learning and practice. The content as well as the forms of education in the field of risk management and crisis management at universities differ.

The article deals with the analysis of higher education in the field of risk management in selected countries. The article aims to specify the framework and forms of education that would take into account the needs of practice in relation to full-time and distance learning for domestic and foreign students based on the results of the comparison and current needs, experiences and new trends. In accordance with the set goal, the methodology of the article was determined. The starting point will be the use of the results of empirical research, statistical surveys, comparative analysis and scientific methods for the analysis and synthesis of the obtained data.
