Abstract:
Teaching informatics became an integral part of curriculum at basic schools. Altogether with new technologies always arises a question connected with the innovation of the educational content. Currently next to the user's conception of teaching reflects the trend of productively-oriented teaching. Here, the pupils learn how to create new artifacts. These may be in the case of the subject of informatics, computer programs.

In this paper, therefore, we will address selected online applications that are designed to support the teaching of informatics and allow pupils to create computer programs. Applications are free to download and can be found on the website of the non-profit organization CODE.ORG.

The available educational environment is designed for elementary school pupils of all ages who are interested in computer science with the aim to learn not only the basics of work with the computer.
