Abstract:
This paper describes the process of lifelong learning curriculum design using university industry collaboration and the experiences and feedback received therefrom in an international context namely Finland and Russia. The development is based on the feedback received from industry participants using a method called DACUM (Developing A Curriculum). The conceptualisation of the online courses began during the autumn of 2021, based on the DACUM results and benchmarking existing courses given by the universities in Finland. The development work was undertaken online, with participants from HUMAK and LAB located in the south and southeastern parts of Finland. The online work was structured, firstly the goals were determined, the target groups their needs and the main themes to be covered. The structure and learning outcomes and the materials were also constructed online producing courses which will be available to Master students at both participating universities and also to a wide range of participants through the open university, providing lifelong learning courses.
