Abstract:
The following investigation deals about the application of the educational data processing in the context of the registration and disclosure of contents by means of the development of an interactive database enclosed to the entry web of the School of Industrial Design at Universidad del Bío-Bío, which joins on a structured manner the description of the graduation projects that have been approved up to date. The application seeks to be a didactic resource, where the process of the studying material may help to guide the undergraduate student in choosing his/her topic, development, implementation, etc. through the explanation of the process and assistance in the methodological stages. The project has been developed by using a methodology that comprises the following: background information gathering, design of Web site application, disclosure. The project contributes to improve accessibility (location, questions) to the registrations of those projects that have been carried out. On the other hand, it views the need of formatting the contents of the project with the purpose of making its subsequent digital indexing easier. This dynamic record, permits the collection of those contents that are exposed to the Institution where they are originated, and so, making the program’s concepts and profiles integration and associability. These bring about a disclosure pedagogical strategy possible, since the extent and typology of the projects that have been carried out can be taught to students, potential students and businessmen.
