Abstract:
Teaching E-Business in IT classes is essential. The students are shown how to identify and find their customers, how to attract them to their businesses and finally how to gain profit. But learning and understanding the fundamentals of E-Business is not as easy for IT students as for students of more economically related classes. In order to attract these topics for those students, they have to be shown how to use e-business tools and models for themselves to build up successful businesses.

The easiest way to do so, is to transfer already finished projects -which were part of previous lectures- into e-businesses. Apps, programs, tools and business plans can easily be adapted and formed into businesses. The students learn how to use their knowledge in programing and web-design to create businesses which could really turn out successful.

This paper shows examples of businesses and business ideas which were created by technical studies, as well as techniques the lecturer used to attract the topic e-business for the students.
