Abstract:
Education of employees is the potential of the company which can increase its credit contrary to others. Its excellent company employees are the key to success in any industry. Additionally, investment in human capital is the most valuable to the organization returned many times, and therefore staff training should be a priority for every organization. This fact is also true for military organization. The Czech army has as one of the ways to increase its potential by military education provided by University of Defence in Brno. This text presents advantages of competency approach to education in the specific context of defence, particularly in the training of the officers at the University of Defence. Competency Education is a competitive advantage when the army educates soldiers exactly according to their needs and provides a unique education. The present text is mapping the placement of graduates of the Faculty of Military Leadership in the structure of the Army of the Czech Republic in the last seven years and compares the resulting demands study the needs of everyday military practice and focuses on the competency of leads others like the added value of studies with positive impact on the entire organization. Competency of leads others helps to facilitate mastery of claims commanding position after graduation and positively act on the subordinated unit. Just appropriately educated officer with a well established competency of leads others increases the knowledge potential of the organization and also he transmits his knowledge by direct action on subordinate soldiers.
