Abstract:
Analysis of teacher education in countries that achieve the best international ratings clearly show that their main emphasis aims on the sophisticated system of reflective, structured, gradual teaching practice that implements knowledge about pupils´ learning processes and development of their critical and creative thinking which represents the key psychodidactic topics. The article presents partial results of the research where we tried to determine which critical and creative thinking strategies are considered important by teachers in technical subjects and how they apply them. The main method of data collection was an online questionnaire for teachers. The results were then put into graphs. They show that teachers consider strategies for critical and creative thinking essential and apply them greatly in the educational process.
