Abstract:
Benefits of multimedia e-learning materials are described in many articles. The application of multimedia learning materials and good practices verifies theory and gives insight to the practical use. This article focuses to the application of e-learning materials in blended learning of pedagogical methodology. The students using multimedia e-learning materials achieved better results than students which used traditional textbooks. The reason for better achievements may be in the problem solving strategies. The application of particular strategy may be stimulated by the different types of information provided by the multimedia e-learning materials. Problem solving strategies are the combination of four particular strategies described as reasoning strategies. In the teaching of statistics the reasoning strategies are essential to achieve understanding and successful implementation of statistics in education. Article will present the results of research where we tested different strategies that could be stimulated by the multimedia e-learning materials. Test examples for acquiring the applied strategies and the preliminary results will be presented.
