Abstract:
The implementation of a Project Based Learning implies a serious challenge for the lecturers involved in this design. This difficult task is even greater when several subjects participate jointly in the design of a single project. Learning objectives and results must cover the needs of all subjects involved in the project.

In this case, the Technical School of Computer Engineering in the Universitat Politècnica de València is becoming part of an initiative of design joint projects. Lecturers of the Information System branch are making the design, and the subjects included in this proposal are Business Models, Design and Management of Databases, and Integrated Information Systems in Organizations. All of them are included in the fourth year.

The elaboration of the proposal has made possible to identify difficulties for the implementation of this type of initiatives:
1. Different semester between subjects:
The branch of Information Systems includes subjects in 3rd year and 4th year. The participation of subjects belonging to different semesters in a single project has been presented as an element of temporary complexity, coordination and difficult for their evaluation.
2. Changes in the temporal planning of contents in each subject:
For the elaboration of the project the students must deal with contents of different subjects with sufficient time. Therefore, these contents must be treated in the classroom in advance. In addition, certain aspects require the participation of elements of more than one subject, so the treatment in the classroom for these subjects must be coordinated.
3. Coordination of dates of the integrated project:
It is necessary to coordinate the delivery dates of the project report and the presentations of the students where all the teachers participate.
4. Students with dispensation of attendance:
Students who have requested their non-attendance classes for justified reasons must be properly managed. The formation of groups of students with dispensation who can work by connecting remotely can solve this aspect. The presence of these students will be required in the oral presentation of the project.
5. Students not enrolled in any subject:
The case of students not enrolled in any subject should be addressed knowing the specific situation and decide, on the part of the teaching staff, if the student performs the project "only" of the subjects in which he or she is enrolled or a different activity / project is proposed.
