LEARNING EVALUATION IN PRACTICAL SUBJECTS THROUGH VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS
In this work the most relevant aspects for carrying out the evaluation and assessment of student learning through virtual environments are defined. The evaluation aims to measure the knowledge attained by students as well as competences acquired at the end of the training process. To perform this process, emerging technologies are employed highlighting the use of e-portfolios and online assessment tests. In these e-portfolios, students incorporate the works and tasks are performing during the course as well as all drafts that are generated from these works. In this way, teachers can periodically identify how students are applying the knowledge acquired to their works. In addition, it has the advantage of allowing propose improvements in the development of the tasks thus favoring a good training evolution.
In summary, this work analyzes the advantages that this type of evaluation presents to teachers as well as the results obtained by students using this type of evaluation.
