Abstract:
Purpose:
This paper aims at presenting a novel and a pioneering experience in the higher education scene in Morocco. The Mohamed 1st University has launched the first interactive terminals destined to the community of students. These terminals offer a series of services to students ranging from document delivery, information about marks, exams to registration as well as the selection of curricula, all in four languages Arabic, French, Engligh, and Amazigh, the local idiom.

Methodology:
We begun with the analysis of the software and its components. Then we tested the accompanying application version. But we mainly used the questionnaire for collecting the data from the students of the different faculties. The questionnaire was distributed to 182 students, and the response rate 81.32 per cent.

Results:
It has been found that the usage of these solutions is hardly increasing; this is due to the lack of awareness among the students about e-services in general, due to the absence of basic skills. The exploitation of the full potential of electronic services and resources poses question about the opportunity of in hardware and software as well as the need for strategic management of these issues.

Limits:
As usual, the rate of response may hinder the results in the administration view.
Implications: It recommends future improvised adapted solutions.

Originality/value:
This positive and unique experience should be known and replicated in other universities in Morocco. This publication may help in this purpose.
