Abstract:
This study analyses the stylistic and musical characteristics of Mahomet, the first pasodoble in the history of the music of Moors and Christians and therefore also considered the first musical composition composed specifically for this celebration. The Festera Music, which is interpreted in the Celebration of Moors and Christians, is a part of the culture and folklore in many towns and cities of the Spanish levante. It is an extremely valuable contribution which has enriched the musical band repertoire and has some contents that print you nature and distinguishes it from any other genre.

To do this, we'll discuss more relevant musical level parameters such as rhythm, harmony, melody, the form and instrumentation and other elements such as progressive marches, harmonic progressions, modal exchanges or the types of scales. With this type of analysis is carried out a detailed study of the score and extract meaningful results, which remove the appropriate conclusions which will allow us to catalog this type of music in the future. We also believe that a good analysis should start a global without any analytical intention towards a more detailed under the outcome study approach. Thus proposes a clear and precise methodology to help understand the musical analysis carried out.
