Abstract:

The aim of this communication is to describe the guideline and the tools that should be used to make a good monitoring of the development the final project. They are for the students enrolled in the bachelor’s degree in Labour Relations who have chosen topics related to public and private pensions.

The recent reform of the Spanish Social Security system including new aspects in the legislation means study how this new concepts are applied in other countries. It has worked in order to link their knowledge gained during the courses along the degree and their research skills. The basic aspects that should be included in the guideline are: a) names of specific journals, b) the methodology used to develop the research, c) the proposal chronogram to start and to finish the research and d) the periodicity to contact with the advisor in order to appreciate their work in progress. All this aspects are complementary to the formal requirements that Faculty of Law establishes for the final project to the different degrees.

The communication concludes with the main reasons of the convenience to use the designed guideline to the students that are motivated to do research in this field.
