Abstract:

Alarm receiving centre are becoming more and more popular thanks to their advantages especially for the owners of several plants that depend on maintaining the safety of goods. Advantageous are becoming also devices with the ability to store cloud information, which are mostly offered by private operators.
The fact that modern technologies are also used in the issues of centralized protection, results into the interconnection of several active elements of an object protection system. Very often the interconnection of the alarm system and the video surveillance systems is used, which is used for immediate verification of the indicated alarm.
Because of this fact, we focused on the importance of additional education of dispatchers in the field of video management system. They are often used in video surveillance systems to facilitate the work. On the market there is in fact a large amount of video management systems with various features and user conditions.
Our training was composed of two phases. The first phase consisted of testing the most frequently used video management systems and creating detailed educational material. The second phase consists of presenting education material to the dispatchers of alarm receiving centre at regular training sessions.
